New Coaching Affiliate


Dean Yobbi is a regular at the Gone Riding events and has joined the BCC crew. Dean is a USA Certified Coach (level III) and is dedicated to developing endurance athletes. Most importantly, he's available to listen to the needs of endurance athletes who are seeking individualized training plans, pledging "I will look and act professional; I will be conscientious; I will do what I say; I will admit when I'm wrong." Dean has agreed to develop criteria to select a deserving youth cyclists from the Fall Gone Riding Series and provide free coaching should that person wish to accept the assistance.

Florida State Championship - Fall Series Promotion - GONERIDING.COM

XC-J (11-14) Male and Female Each race winner wins a free technical riding class from a BCCyclistsFL member or affiliate.
XC-J (15-18) Male and Female The winner of each race gets $75 credit for a free month of coaching from Drew Edsall or a $75.00 Credit for a Four Month Training Plan from Matt Goforth.

BCCyclistsFL guarantees the promotion for the first 3 races. Continued donations are required to continue the program for all eight (8) races. BCC ask cycling enthusiast and local bike shops to donate to the cause of promoting Youth/Junior cycling.
The recipient will be required to pay the consultation fee (approximately $50.00) for the Endurance Factor coaching to show they are serious about the training process. Endurance Factors basic program is $100 per month and if a rider wishes to upgrade the coaching program it will be at their expense. On Your Mark is providing a hard copy 4-month annual training program ($150 value). On Your Mark can be upgraded to monthly contact for an additional $50.00 a month. Each program can be upgraded by the recipient or by winning additional races. BCC only guarantees the first 3 races of the coaching/training plan, thus additional sponsorship is based on sponsor participation. Help the program out by providing a copy of this promotion to your Local Bike Shop/Business. No funds are given directly to the recipient - all payment goes to the respective coaching program.

Drew Edsall - Endurance Factor.com - As a cycling and triathlon coach, Drew successfully coaches athletes of all ages and abilities. He creates custom programs for all of his athletes and regularly performs Lactate Threshold/VO2 Max testing for anyone who is interested.

Matt Goforth - OYMbike.com - is a USA Certified Coach and specializes in Annual Training Programs, Lazer Bike Fits and operates On Your Mark Performance Center.

BCC Riders are preparing for Nationals

USA Cycling Mountain Bike National Championships
Mount Snow - Vermont
Date: Jul 16, 2008 to Jul 20, 2008

Mount Snow will host the USA Cycling Mountain Bike National Championships. The best pros from all across the country will be in the Mount Snow Valley for this weeklong event that will crown National Champions in Super Downhill, Cross Country, Short Track, Dual Slalom, Observed Trials, Speed Trials, and Downhill categories. Spectators will enjoy several activities in addition to the races, including a festival style atmosphere, professional autograph sessions, and more. This will be the last major race before the US Olympic Mountain Bike Team heads to China for the Summer Olympics.
